The design and implementation training for green roof projects in Ukraine using ZinCo technology was conducted by employees of ZinCo Ukraine LLC and Ivan Christ, Regional Manager of ZinCo GmbH Germany. The theoretical course included general information about the types of ZinCo system solutions, the selection algorithm for a specific project, the calculation methodology for ZinCo system materials, the rules for drawing up commercial offers and studying the structure of contracts, the specifics of installation work for green roof systems, the rules for selecting and purchasing planting material, the planting work procedure, and the rules for maintenance.
ZinCo specialists shared their experience in designing and installing green roofs in Ukraine at large facilities, as well as private homes and residences. It was very impressive to learn about the large-scale projects implemented by ZinCo. These include:
- greening the roof of the production buildings of Solon SE in Adlershof (Berlin, Germany);
- greening of an underground parking lot in Madrid (Spain);
- greening the roof of Ronald McDonald's house in Essen (Germany);
- greening the roof of a sports club in Freiburg (Germany);
- greening the roof of the city hospital in Eslingen (Germany).
The course was easy to follow and was held in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Employees of our company received completion certificates. We express our gratitude to the employees of Zinko Ukraine LLC and wish them lots of new and exciting projects in Ukraine.
