RENOLIT ALKORSOLAR is a foundation for fastening solar panels to synthetic roofs. The ultralight fastening system allows installing solar panels on the roof with no need for additional ballasting or membrane perforation. This is a unique system that has proven to be a crucial advancement in the way photovoltaic cells are attached to roofing membranes. It can be applied to both flat and pitched roofs, specifically in waterproofing systems offered by RENOLIT ALKORPLAN.
The ALKORSOLAR system was developed in compliance with the general principles of PVC-P roofs. This system offers benefits to the roofer, building owner, and PV system installer.
RENOLIT ALKORSOLAR has received French technical approval (Avis Technique) as well as German DIBT approval, making it the first and only PV installation system in Germany with DIBT approval.

More about the ALKORSOLAR system
The profile with the aluminum insert provides the base for fixing the special-purpose products directly to the PVC membrane without perforation. The PVC profile is welded to the membrane with a weld seam using hot air. This is the main advantage of the system, because the profile is securely fixed in place and cannot move, making it impossible to damage the roofing membrane. The profile is also always fully compatible with the synthetic membrane. The devices are mechanically fastened to the aluminum insert.
Thanks to hot air welding, this lightweight system is securely held in place and is 100% safe even in extreme weather conditions. The RENOLIT ALKORSOLAR profiles distribute the additional weight of the photovoltaic (PV) system over the roof surface, eliminating the risk of point loads and preventing deformation of the thermal insulation or any foundation.
Numerous tests during development at the von Karman Institute (VKI) and practical use of the RENOLIT ALKORSOLAR system for more than 10 years prove its efficiency and reliability without wasting words.
The RENOLIT ALKORSOLAR system has successfully passed wind tunnel tests at 200 km/h.
