GOLDI shopping center is a two-storey shopping and entertainment center in Shepetivka, Khmelnytskyi region. It is located in the city center at 20A Myru Avenue. Today, modern and affordable clothing of the Ukrainian brand GOLDI is produced and sold here. By studying fashion trends and analyzing the market, the brand popularizes the culture of different trends and styles among ordinary people. After all, fashion not only exists on the rooftops of expensive restaurants in megacities, but also in every suburb.
The project was commissioned by T-Style, the founder of the Ukrainian clothing brand GOLDI and a light industry leader in Ukraine, whose production capacity reaches more than 20 tons of high-quality fabric per day. A distinctive feature of this project is that the solar panels are installed on the roof using the ultra-lightweight RENOLIT ALKORSOLAR fastening system without additional ballasting or perforation of the roofing membrane.
Roof construction specifics
A distinctive feature of the project is that the solar panels are installed on the roof using the ultra-lightweight RENOLIT ALKORSOLAR mounting system. The profile with the aluminum insert provides the base for fixing the solar panels. Fastening was performed by hot air welding without additional ballasting or perforation of the roofing membrane, which is the main advantage of the system. Thanks to hot air welding, this lightweight system is securely held in place and is 100% safe even in extreme weather conditions. The ALKORSOLAR profiles distribute the additional weight of the photovoltaic (PV) system over the roof surface, eliminating the risk of point loads and preventing deformation of the thermal insulation or any foundation. The system is also completely waterproof thanks to the installation without perforation of the hydro-insulation.
The total roof area reaches 2,200 sq.m.
