We install flat roofs with waterproofing with plastic membranes (polymer membranes PVC, FPO/TPO (TPE/TPP), EVA, PIB).
EUROROOFING uses thermoplastics as a waterproofing material in many projects. Thermoplastics are a universal solution for waterproofing flat roofs of various types for both operated and non-operated roofs.
Our company has all the necessary equipment and experience for the installation of plastic membrane roofs of any type. We are always ready to offer the best solutions for the installation of plastic membrane roofs for your projects of almost any size: from small private houses to commercial facilities covering tens of thousands square meters; from the easiest projects that require only the efforts of a professional team to the most complex ones that involve a whole team of specialists from project design to commissioning.
The main parameters that should satisfy the creator are reliability during the installation stage, reliability during operation, and long-term durability. The commercial component of the matter is the market value for the appropriate quality of the material, meaning that thermoplastics come in different types and qualities, each more suitable for a particular project and with a longer or shorter service life.
Factors influencing the choice in favor of thermoplastic membranes:
Reliability during operation
Polymer membranes are a rolled material. The reliability of such waterproofing is ensured by manufacturing parameters. European manufacturers have their own testing laboratories that check the performance of each manufactured batch of material for applied tear force, relative elongation at break, frost resistance, heat resistance and flammability, puncture resistance, UV resistance, delamination resistance; optical thickness control sensors on the entire surface of the sheet, etc. The data and samples of the produced material are stored in the laboratory for at least 10 years.

It is quite easy to identify the material in case of a warranty claim, as European manufacturers mark plastic membranes on each roll along the edge of the sheet with a special code: the material class according to which EN it was produced, date and place of production, batch, line, shift, and other markings.
We believe that this gives confidence in the material and demonstrates the high responsibility of the manufacturer towards its customers.
Durability
Typically, the durability of the material is determined by independent European institutions, such as the British Board of Agreement; the BBA certificate, which specifies the actual service life of the material in years if used and operated correctly. High-quality PVC membranes have a BBA certificate indicating a service life of at least 35 years. Below is an example of a BBA certificate from one of the PVC membranes manufacturers.

Before including any material in the range of materials for our company's projects, EUROROOFING experts primarily pay attention to the data from certificates and technical sheets of European origin when assessing the quality of waterproofing membranes, while Ukrainian certificates, however sad it may sound, are considered last.
Reliability during the installation stage
Plastic membranes are a rolled material. Rolled means that it has to be joined in ways that allow it to form a complete waterproof layer. Plastic membranes are characterized by a reliable method of joining the sheets using hot air or hot wedge welding. This is done mainly by an automatic machine that provides excellent quality seams at set parameters: temperature, machine speed, air flow or roller pressure. Before welding, the operator determines the necessary parameters of the automatic equipment based on test seams and checks these parameters periodically, depending on changes in weather conditions, material thickness, roof slopes, and always before the start of the work shift.

Hard-to-reach areas are welded with semi-automatic or manual equipment. Manual and semi-automatic welding is more dependent on a specialist welder, but it is relatively slow, so it is possible to control every millimeter of the seam.
There is a wide range of professional welding as well as automatic equipment for the installation of polymeric membranes, which eliminates the human factor in welding during the installation of plastic membrane waterproofing.
We are confident, as it has been proven by our own experience, that a professional tool for welding thermoplastics can guarantee a complete roll-type waterproofing coating throughout the entire service life of the polymeric membranes.
What are the strengths of plastic membranes?
Seams. As strange as it may sound, seams are a strong point of thermoplastics, because they are twice as strong as the material itself. If you try to pull apart a well-welded seam, the tear always goes along the body of the membrane, and the seam remains completely intact.
